MEET THE ARTIST: GREGORY WIEGAND

Welcome to Copperrock Creations Inc. My name is Gregory Wiegand, and my work exists to give physical form to the memories, thresholds, and deep human connections that words alone cannot carry. My path to becoming a legacy artist is anchored in three core pillars:

• The Trade: I spent more than 30 years working in the electrical field, developing an intimate, lifelong understanding of raw materials, structures, and physical craftsmanship. Today, I pass that expertise forward as the Electrical Instructor at Heights Technical College.

• The Meditation: My sculpting practice originally began as a personal sanctuary. Twisting copper wire provided a deep, meditative focus that brought quiet to my hands and mind, eventually evolving from a private creative outlet into a purposeful fine art business.

• The Purpose: I believe that life’s defining moments—whether navigating the heavy weight of grief, celebrating a new generational beginning, marking a season of healing, or honoring a life of service—deserve a form that words alone cannot hold. My work exists to partner with individuals and families through these major thresholds. As a veteran and a craftsman, I carry a profound respect for duty, sacrifice, and the enduring human bonds that connect us all. Together, we translate your unique journey into a one-of-a-kind symbolic heirloom built to serve as a living form of witness in your home.
