What is the Rooted Realms

The Rooted Realms is the living world behind my copper witness sculptures—an original mythos built from lineage, symbol, and material. Each piece begins in reclaimed electrical wire, shaped by hand into Root, Branch, and Breath, then seated into wood or stone as a one-of-one “witness.” Clients don’t choose a finished design from a catalog; they choose a feeling to invite in—an Elder species and its aspects—and we consult together to determine the form it should take.

HOW THE HEIRLOOM RELIC COMMISSION WORKS

To begin, you’ll choose an Elder Species by aspect—awakening or remembrance, boundary or balance, creation or permanence—then select a Lore Form (Tree, Treant, or Dragon) that best carries that energy. From there we consult on posture, motion versus stillness, and the base medium (artist-provided or your own meaningful piece), shaping a design that fits your intent and setting. When the sculpture is complete, it receives its own Witness Leaf: one added to the Codex, and one companion leaf that travels with your piece—so what you commission is not only an artwork, but a recorded presence in a world that keeps growing.
